Who are they?

SportWorks is an award-winning social enterprise, innovatively using the power of sport to change lives across the UK.

Where were they before working with us?

Like many business owners, Neil Cameron was familiar with different digital marketing platforms but did not appreciate how a B2B organisation could use social media marketing in particular to develop brand awareness and reach key stakeholders.

What problem were they facing?

SportWorks is able to change the lives of people by working alongside councils, community groups and funders – a tricky target audience to engage with. All cold approaches were being handled offline and the organisation was not leveraging its online presence.

What did we do to solve it?

During a Half Day session, Red Gem took SportWorks’ CEO Neil Cameron through

  • Strategic observations about the brand and its marketing landscape
  • What SportWorks could do to establish a stronger digital presence
  • How the organisation can use the data available through digital platforms to inform and optimise its marketing activity
  • Specific observations and recommendations for each of SportWorks’ digital platforms

Client Impact Statement

“Emel provided an in-depth review of our digital marketing across the business. Her feedback was extremely well thought through, highlighted a good knowledge of our sector and showed her considerable experience in developing impactful marketing strategies. From our first meeting my team and I had over a dozen ‘action points’ which will make an immediate impact on my business. I look forward to working with her again.”
